BODY WORLDS Exhibition

Exhibitions: Now this is something I had heard about on NPR this evening and of course my inquiring mind had to check this out. Gunther von Hagens' was interviewed and was pressed about the ethical issues that surround his work. One of the main questions was where do these cadavers come from? Who are the donors? With the problems of human trafficking in our cruel world, there is a possibility that these bodies are from the former Soviet Union and China where the bodies of the executed are sold on the black market. While this all remains a mystery, I am still intrigied at this type of potrayal of the human body.
